Each oral presenter will have 20 to 25 minutes in total — 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for audience questions and discussion.
With regard to the poster presentations, you will have 10 to 15 minutes to complete your presentation along with questions and discussion.

The 2nd Edition of the Public Health and Midwifery World Conference (PHMWC 2026) was successfully held from September 18–20, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn Miami Dolphin Mall, Miami, USA. Held jointly with the 6th Edition of the World Nursing Science Conference, the event brought together midwives, public health professionals, nurses, researchers and educators from across the globe. It offered a vibrant forum to share evidence, exchange field experience, and discuss practical solutions to today's most urgent maternal, child and community health challenges.
PHMWC 2026 featured inspiring keynote addresses, oral sessions and poster presentations. Topics included respectful maternity care, Indigenous midwifery, teenage pregnancy, postpartum mental health, birth justice and reproductive equity, maternal nutrition, and access to care for underserved and vulnerable communities. Sessions also explored how technology, from artificial intelligence to virtual reality, is reshaping how midwives and public health teams learn, work and deliver care.
Its hybrid format welcomed both in-person and virtual participants, so voices from North America, Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe could join the conversation. Delegates built new connections, exchanged ideas across disciplines, and left with fresh perspectives to take back to their communities.
PHMWC 2026 strengthened the shared commitment to safer births, healthier families and more equitable public health systems through collaboration, compassion and evidence-based practice.
