3rd Edition of the Public Health and Midwifery World Conference 2027

Scientific Sessions - PHMWC 2027

Women's Health and Gynecology

Women's health goes far beyond pregnancy and childbirth. Conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and menopause affect millions of women, yet they are often under-researched, diagnosed late and poorly managed, a pattern known as the gender health gap.

This session addresses women's health across the life course. It brings together midwives, gynecologists, nurses, physiotherapists, public health professionals and researchers.

Key topics include polycystic ovary syndrome and lifestyle and integrative management, endometriosis and menstrual disorders, chronic pelvic pain and pudendal neuralgia, menopause and midlife health, cervical and breast cancer screening and HPV vaccination, gynecological cancers, women's occupational health and workplace harassment, violence against women, women's heart and metabolic health, and closing the gender gap in research and care.

We welcome clinical studies, reviews, qualitative research and case reports. Attendees will gain a broader understanding of women's health needs and practical ways to improve care.
