Biography
Kathryn "Kat" Meyer has spent 25+ years in sexual health, currently working within a MetroHealth and Cleveland Department of Public Health joint project. After years of diagnosing and treating STIs, women's reproductive health, and HIV prevention, my past two years have been all about tackling syphilis/HIV syndemics and getting PEP and PrEP to the community. I love turning a heavy, scary topic into something approachable and fun. Honestly, my passion doesn't stop at the clinic doors—if I'm not actively diagnosing or treating STIs/preventing HIV, I am likely scandalizing the people around me by talking about them anyway
